Maria Montessori
(Chiaravalle, 1870 - Noordwjek, 1952) renoewed Italian Educator who developed a particular teaching method, known as the Montessori method, which was applied initially in Italian elementary schools and later worldwide. Directed to children in preschool, it based on the encouragement of initiative and responsiveness of the child through the use of a specially designed teaching materials. The method proposed a diversification of labor and the greatest possible freedom, so the children learnt largely by themselves at gheur own place.


In this new post I want to keep on one of the listenings worked in class that I found very interesting. This video talks about the life of Maria Montessori and her educational theories. Also, she saw the importance of infant education to grow up and keep learning all life. I hope you like it.
